This ends a prolonged saga that started when audio of former owner Donald Sterling making racist statements hit the Internet. Subsequently, NBA commissioner Adam Silver sentenced Sterling to a lifetime ban and fined him $2.5 million. Sterling fought the decision, with his wife, Shelly, eventually taking control of the Sterling Family Trust and pushing through the sale to Ballmer. In order to gain controlling interest in the team, Shelly Sterling had to fight her husband in probate court....

Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp, 58, has filed a $50 million lawsuit against Heard, 35, alleging that she defamed him in an opinion piece published by The Washington Post in 2018. Heard has countersued for $100 million. Testifying in a Fairfax, Virginia, courthouse on Wednesday, Depp said that after he and Heard had an argument at her birthday party back in April 2016, he expressed a desire to retrieve his belongings from their home while she was at the Coachella festival....

CM Punk’s acrimonious departure from WWE essentially killed his love for pro-wrestling, leading him to seven years away from the squared circle. AEW letting CM Punk pursue other interests had a big part in helping him make his decision to join the company, he told WGN News. He called AEW a fun and exciting place and appreciated the backstage people involved with the company. CM Punk is involved in multiple projects alongside AEW During his promo on his debut at AEW Rampage, CM Punk said that his love for professional wrestling died in 2005 but was revived in 2021....
